I think for the most part the thesis covers what the writer is talking about. I completely agree with the authors thesis. Homemade costumes are more interesting, and creative. When I am passing candy out to children tricker treating, I would give more candy to the more original and creative costumes.
ReplyDeletei think i missed the thesis on this one. the impression the writer made on me though was that he (tom), is disgusted at targets portrayal of a homemade iron man costume. he goes even further by suggesting that a home made costume is better than a mass produced and identical one that target sells. an interesting thing happened though when i was viewing this article. i read the article before i watched the video, then i showed it to my roommate who watched the video before he read the article and we had opposing views on the subject. i was more in favor of the authors point of view, where my roommate was more in favor of targets point of view, weird huh?
